Tour Day Marin

To highlight the incredible landscapes of West Marin, we designed a digital experience that mirrors the region’s sense of space, beauty, and calm. Expansive imagery, clean layouts, and intuitive navigation guide users through a visual journey. The goal was to create a website that not only informs but also evokes the feeling of being there, capturing the quiet grandeur and natural rhythm of West Marin with every scroll.

Our goal was to ensure that every natural detail of West Marin had its place and purpose. We approached the design with a deep respect for the landscape, using full-width imagery, subtle motion, and clean typography to let the region speak for itself. Every element was intentionally chosen to reflect West Marin’s quiet power and layered beauty – creating an immersive experience that encourages visitors to slow down, look closer, and connect with the land.

To capture the scale and spirit of West Marin, we incorporated sweeping video footage as a central storytelling element. Wide aerial shots of coastal bluffs, rolling pastures, and winding backroads bring the landscape to life, immersing visitors in the region’s natural beauty. From the moment they land on the homepage, it serves as an emotional entry point that sets the tone for the site.

A key feature of this project was designing an intuitive, interactive map that allows visitors to build their own West Marin experience. Whether users are searching for oyster farms along Tomales Bay, historic landmarks in Point Reyes, or dog-friendly beaches and trails, the map makes it easy to explore by interest, location, or accessibility. Paired with a customizable itinerary tool, the experience empowers visitors to plan their perfect day – highlighting the region’s diverse offerings while keeping usability and discovery at the forefront.
